Recovering from UltraClear
Recovery after UltraClear varies with the depth of your customized treatment. Your team will tailor these guidelines to your specific plan. These are general guidelines, your personalized aftercare instructions always take precedence.
Day 0
Skin will feel warm, similar to a sunburn. Redness and mild swelling are expected. Follow your personalized aftercare instructions and keep the skin moisturized as directed.
Day 1
Redness and swelling continue. Gentle cleansing and the recommended healing ointment or moisturizer are your priorities. Avoid makeup until cleared by the treating clinician.
Days 2-3
Depending on treatment depth, light flaking or a sandpaper-like texture may develop. Do not pick or exfoliate, allow the skin to shed naturally.
Week 1
Most visible flaking resolves for lighter treatments; deeper treatments may take longer. New skin may appear pink. Sun protection is essential every day.
Weeks 2-6
Pinkness fades and skin quality improvements continue to build as collagen remodels. Continue daily SPF and your recommended skincare.
