Dr. Scott Gerrish is an aesthetic and wellness physician. More than 30 years in aesthetic medicine, an engineering background concentrated in thermodynamics and heat transfer, and a foundation in internal medicine give him an uncommon perspective: how energy-based technology interacts with living tissue, and how treatment fits the whole patient.
His perspective has been shaped by more than clinical practice. It follows a clear progression. An engineering foundation gave him an early understanding of how energy-based technology works. He tested that understanding clinically as an FDA clinical trial investigator and through collaboration with device manufacturers and engineers. He has since taught aesthetic medicine to physicians internationally. Both Gerrish MedEsthetics locations are recognized by Candela Medical as Centers of Excellence, reflecting ongoing participation in advanced clinical education and professional engagement with Candela technology. Each stage informs the next: understanding the technology, evaluating it clinically, teaching and refining its use, and applying that knowledge to individualized patient care.
