Neck & Jawline Definition
For laxity and contour along the neck and jawline
Individual results vary
Facial aging is rarely a single problem. Texture may become less smooth, tone less even, firmness may decline, and the lower face and jawline may soften at the same time. When these changes involve several layers, treating one concern in isolation can leave the result incomplete.
Silent Lift™ is Dr. Gerrish's coordinated treatment strategy, not one procedure. The layers are selected and sequenced according to which tissue goals need attention, how much intensity the skin can tolerate, and how the components work together. Not every patient needs every layer.

Glacē Facial or other physician-selected skin preparation
Cleanses, hydrates, and prepares the skin so subsequent treatments can be performed more comfortably and with more consistent response. Learn about Glacē Facial
Matrix Pro or other deeper dermal remodeling technologies when appropriate
Delivers energy into the deeper dermis to address collagen remodeling, firmness, and early laxity when structural change is a goal. Learn about Matrix Pro
UltraClear, LaseMD, Nordlys 1550, or other fractional resurfacing technologies
Improves the appearance of texture, tone, fine lines, pores, and pigmentation at the surface of the skin. Learn about UltraClear
Sculptra or other physician-selected collagen-stimulating treatments when appropriate
May support gradual, longer-term improvement in facial support and skin quality as the skin builds its own collagen over time. Learn about Sculptra
Medical-grade skincare, topical peptides, and growth-factor recovery products when appropriate
Supports a healthy healing environment and may help the skin recover more comfortably after treatment. This is recovery support, not a claim to regrow or restructure tissue.
Layer selection reflects skin quality, anatomy, goals, tolerance, safety, and recovery expectations.
More treatment is not always better. When therapies are combined, the total demand placed on the skin must be respected.
Dr. Gerrish weighs treatment intensity, heat exposure, tissue response, recovery time, patient comfort, and long-term goals when a Silent Lift™ plan is designed. If one part of the plan is intensified, another may be reduced to keep cumulative heat load and inflammation within a safe range.
This way of thinking comes from Dr. Gerrish's decades in aesthetic medicine, his engineering background in thermodynamics and tissue-energy interaction, his internal medicine perspective, his FDA clinical research participation, and his collaboration with aesthetic technology developers. Individual treatments within a plan are delivered by our clinical team, with the treating clinician making the procedural decisions for each visit.
Technology matters. Judgment matters more.

Silent Lift™ may suit patients whose concerns involve several layers at once. It is non-surgical: it does not remove excess skin or replace surgery when significant laxity requires tissue lifting or repositioning. It does not stop or reverse aging, create an overnight change, or follow a fixed five-layer recipe.

Exact downtime depends on the layers selected. Skin preparation may involve little visible recovery; surface resurfacing or deeper energy treatments may involve redness, swelling, or peeling for several days; and biostimulation may involve temporary tenderness or bruising.
Some layers may be staged across separate visits so the skin can recover between steps. You will receive recovery and skincare guidance for the modalities used.
If aging is appearing in several layers at once, consultation can establish whether a layered Silent Lift™ strategy makes sense or one focused treatment would meet the goal more efficiently.
